Yeah, over 200 pictures from one show might be a much for some people to sit through. So every now and then, I think I’ll call attention to the ones I really, really like. Hey, it’ll give you all something else to read here besides stuff I’ve copied off of weirdal.com or news articles.
Here’s one pic I’m rather proud of: 60% Chance of Rain
For years, I’ve always wanted to capture the moment just before Al threw water right in your face during “Smells Like Nirvana”. Now I finally have it. Too bad all my pics are low-res.
By the way, I was also at the 7pm show, center section, row 10. Somehow Al pegged me pretty good with the water then, too. Sheesh.

Check out the August Issue of Blender magazine (the one with Beyconé on the cover) and turn to page 42 for a cool little Q&A session with Al.

Here’s a collection of my all-time favorite 200+ pictures from the Navy Pier concert on Saturday, July 26, 2003.
I’m still working on the captions, but feel free to look around, leave comments, etc…
I’m particular proud of a few sequences you’ll find on there. Al beats up Santa, Barney gets his head chewed off, etc…
Enjoy!

Here’s an interview by the Chicago Sun Times: Speaking with Weird Al Yankovic
Read what Al says about the album title, explaining his line of work, Eminem, Genius in France, the tour, interstitially, rarities, what he does when he’s not performing, vegetarian Chicago Diner, and if he’d like to see a Weird Al Show DVD set.

Yeah, not directly about Al, but hey it’s close enough. Luke Ski has released his latest album today, six months ahead of schedule, entitled “Worst Album Ever”. Let’s see if it lives up to its name.

All info is directly taken from The Official “Weird Al” Yankovic Web Site…
August 5 marks the debut of “Set In Skin” (a VH1 show about the art of tattooing), which features a segment with a fan that has permanently scarred his body with images of Al and his band members.
On August 15, VH1 will premiere “The Greatest: 50 Funniest Moments In Rock” (we’re guessing Al will show up some way or another on that).
And on August 17 at 8:00 PM on Nickelodeon, Al and the band can be seen performing “Couch Potato” for Nick Magazine’s 10th Anniversary Party.
In addition, AL-TV will re-air on August 15, 2pm and 10pm EST, and on August 16, 4:30 pm EST.
JetBlue and VH1 Classic Present “Redeye Requests”
Interesting… JetBlue Airlines and VH1 Classic have joined together to create a service called “RedEye Requests”. Now, those who are planning to take a flight between midnight and 5 am on Monday can send in a request for their favorite 60s, 70s, or 80s music video. The show debuted on Monday, July 21, featuring music video requests from JetBlue crewmembers. Among the hot picks chosen for this episode was Al’s “Like A Surgeon” video. Neato!
So, if you’re flying across the country to catch your 50th Al concert in a row, you don’t have to go without seeing his videos just because you’re stuck between two large Albanian women with excruciatingly severe body odor. Keep your tray table up, your seat back in the full upright position, and get your Weird Al fix for the flight! Awww yeah.
The Poodle Hat Tour
Holy dooley! Have a gander at the tour page! For the first time ever, Al and the other Yanks will be touring outside of North America. All you lucky fans in Australia will get to see him in October. Yahoo!
