October 31, 2003Congrats WOWAYHappy Birthday WOWAY! As of today, the Weird Al web forum is two years old. Blog BackOkay, I got this site looking like it used to. Hooray! I still need to work on the smaller sub pages, but for the most part, things are getting back to normal. I reposted some of the more important links from last week onto here just for reference. Well, I haven’t seen any actual Al news today, so I guess it’s time for *drumroll please* the “Weird Al Site of the Moment”! Today’s site is: XVR27’s Weird Al Yankovic Homepage. From this site, you can find lyrics listed by subjects like foods, length, or even forms of life. Be sure to check out his sounds, pictures, and a plethora of other pages made available by XVR27. October 29, 2003Blog ChangeWell, my web hoster says that MovableType is too resource-intensive for it to be on this server, but they do seem to support b2. *sigh* I was really getting to like that software, too. Well, I give this thing a shot. October 27, 2003Trick or Treat? TREAT!
Sneak Peek of the 2004 ALendarA message from Bobbi, Weird Al Star Fund’s graphics coordinator: Bermuda, could I have a drumroll, please? As promised,a sneak peek of the new 2004 Weirdalstar ALendar! The items are available for sale as of today October 27, 2003. These are single page, one year calendars. http://www.cafeshops.com/weirdalstar There are five available, including brand new exclusive artwork by the Great Lukeski! Lukeski’s artwork is going to be the cover of the ALendar, created just for this project. There are a few wonderful, droolworthy pics that you will recognize from The Mothership. Don’t worry, we have permission to use them. And the one that will give you a real taste of what the 12 month ALendar will look like is the Band photo. It looks like we are on track for a Nov. 1 launch of the 12 month ALendar. If all goes well. We had well over 500 pictures donated. I’ve done my best to include as many as I could. But obviously it just wasn’t possible to include every single picture. I picked what I thought were the best of the best. There were some very tough choices, but I did my best to make this something the fans will cherish and Al will be proud of. Thanks to everyone for your help. Enjoy! October 23, 2003Amazon Book SearchAmazon.com has just released a “Look Inside the Book” feature where you can find books that merely mention the words “weird al yankovic” in it, no longer just title and author. Very spiffy indeed. FYE instore, Santa Ana 11/4From WeirdAl.com:
