Feed Me Seymore!
If you woke up this morning thinking, “I wanna steal all the news from Yank Blog and put them on my own site.” Hey! There’s no need to steal. Just use the power of Javascript and the lemony-scented goodness of RSS. Don’t know lickety-squat about none of that junk? No problem. Just follow these simple-to-read steps:
- Go to FeedRoll and enter http://www.yankovic.org/blog/index.rdf where it asks for the RSS Source.
- Click on ‘Update’ to see how it looks (shown on the left-hand side)
- Play around with the colors, the text size, the border, etc…
- Copy the javascript code at the the bottom and paste it into your own pages
Voila, instant Yank Blog news! Lemme know if you’ve done this with your site. I might give you a link back in the side bar.

Hey Steve- I tried to enter that URL for the RSS source, and it told me the url was invalid….
