There are few genres I haven’t done over the years. I haven’t tried Gregorian chants or Viking music yet.

April Desktop Calendar

Well it seems as if you folks were all too stinkin’ busy to bother creating a simple calendar design for the monhtly Al-oholics Anonymous Desktop Calendar contest. Have you seen the past designs? It’s really not that tough. Ya scan a picture, slap the calendar and logo on it and BAM! Instant entry. You could have had all the prestige and fame that comes with being a contest winner. Ya know, it’s concert season again and you’ve probably taken some great pictures. Why not share some of those with everyone? Good luck to next months particpants.

COD, Joliet pics

Here are my extremely mediocre pictures that I took during the Glen Ellyn and Joliet concerts. What they lack in quality, I make up for in quantity.

Al in the News

It’s good to be weird

What if your young son or daughter walked up to you one day and said they’d like to grow up to be like Weird Al Yankovic?

Weird Al’s not so weird after all these years

But if there’s proof you can never take the adolescent weirdness out of Yankovic, it’s in his music.

Always Says Something Foul

From Yankovic Slams Simon For Softening Up:

Parody singer ‘WEIRD AL’ YANKOVIC has slammed SIMON COWELL losing his notorious nasty streak in the latest season of TV talent contest AMERICAN IDOL.
Cowell has returned to the show alongside fellow judges PAULA ABDUL and RANDY JACKSON, but Yankovic admits he’s upset to see how inoffensive the British music mogul’s criticisms have become.
He says, “My biggest disappointment so far is Simon Cowell. He just isn’t as nasty as he used to be.
“I think I speak for the entire American viewing audience when I say that we want to see these contestants slitting their wrists as they’re walking off stage.”
