Ribbing: For Your Pleasure
Two articles show up in Cincinnati.com’s The Enquirer in anticipation of the August 22 concert in Ohio:
Weird Al can’t stop the ribbing
Pop music is something that I think should be fun and not taken terribly seriously.
And then immediately following that, the Enquirer asks local acts what songs would they like to have parodied by Al. Perhaps one day, young rockers… perhaps one day.

Ya know a lot of these little article dealees say “no artist is safe from the ‘weird al treatmeant’” but anyone could just say “hey, don’t parody my song” and Weird Al wouldn’t do it. And what does ribbing mean?

Ribbing just means joking around, teasing in a good-natured way, poking fun, etc.
