30 Years of Al on Dr. Demento

In addition to being Pi Day, 30 years ago today, Dr. Demento introduced the world to a young accordion player who went by the name of Alfred Yankovic, in the form of his home-recorded song, “Belvedere Cruising.” Little Alfred would go on to become the most successful comedy recording artist of all time!! Happy anniversary Al!!
