  2. Patti Says:

I wish I had seen this notice earlier! Grrrr!

  3. Katherine Says:

I woke up at 9:30, and I thought I missed it but I didn’t. Rock on.

  4. Patti Says:

How was that possible? Unless you’re not in the Eastern time zone. Of course, they won’t repeat it, and I’ll have missed it yet again. I’ve never seen this program. :(

  5. Weird Mario Says:

I missed it, stupid time zone differences.:(

I found out the hard way…
I set my VCR for 6am PST (Because I was told that there was a 3 hour time difference) and set my VCR for 2 hours (just in case…).

I woke up at 9am to find the tape recorded random animal shows.
I turned the channel to Animal Planet and, luckily, There was the show.

I quickly set up the VCR to record the rest of the show.

I am disappointed at how short the segment was, but I thought it was great!
I will try to upload a low quality file of the segment on my site later in the week for those who missed it…

i saw it..it was cool. i taped it and rewound to see it again and i got static/snowy stuff. I almost didnt get up to watch it, but i couldnt sleep.
    Bela loves nostrils. lol

  8. Patti Says:

    Oh, thank you, Stephen!

  9. Stephen S. Says:

I have 5 files made of Al’s segment on the show.

500KB 160×120 for people with the lack of time/waiting. Very poor quality. many conversion artifacts.

1.8MB 320×240 bigger square box. still grainy.
7.6MB with highest quality I could get at 320×240

    18.8MB 640×480 best quality I could get at resolution…
    and
24.5 MB 720×480 (that’s what it says…) almost as good as if you were watching it on TV. (it has a small sliver at the bottom of the screen, however, that may be distracting to some people.)

should I upload them? and if so, which files?
I have place to put them, but I have dial-up and so it would take me awhile to upload…
if you are interested in the idea, e-mail me at sstaver@gmail.com

  10. Stephen S. Says:

I have uploaded the “Wimpy” size first, because that’s the easiest for me on dial-up.
It is very poor quality. I am not happy about it, but it is good enough for people who can’t/don’t want the other, larger files.

    please have patience.
Over the next few weeks, I will attempt to upload the rest.
Probably the 24.5 MB one will be next.
then the 7.6, 1.8, and last the 18.8, if at all.

you can find it at http://lamename3000.googlepages.com/weirdal
the rest of the files will also be found there.
you can rename the files as however you wish, I recommend that you change the filename…

Sorry for the third comment on a row…

I am uploading the best version of the file now. It should be done in an hour or two.
On my computer, I am working on the episode of Lilo & Stitch that Al appeared on. The whole episode, in best quality + Commercials is about 300MB. I am editing out the commercials and will convert it into a resonable size file. If it is bigger than 25 MB (It will be) I will not upload it from my home. I will have to go to my Grandparent’s home and upload it there. If it is bigger than 75MB (Most likely) I will need another place to upload it than where I am at currently. If it is bigger than 100 MB (Uh.) Google can’t host it. Anyone have an idea? e-mail me at address above.

I prefer one that has no upload limit, no wait for download. no ads. etc. If a host like that exists, let me know through e-mail and I will check it out.
I will post any more results at Weirdalforum.com under a topic.

    fourth comment. Sorry. really.
I will try to contact Bermuda or someone within the next week to see if it is OK to actually have the files up. If not, than you better make sure you get the file now, or you won’t be able to get it. If it is OK, I will probably start to send out CDs (no cost) to people who can’t download. The CDs/DVDs will probably have all the files that I have collected on ‘Weird Al’ over the years. I’ll have to create a topic on weirdalforums.com … etc.. and check with Bermuda to check what is allowed or not.
I don’t want to do anything that I’ll regret later….
