26 days from now isnt on a tuesday… and the 26th of next month isnt a tuesday. 26th of this month isnt a tuesday. garrr..
unless it comes out in september… i hope it’s sooner than that!

I hope there’s gonna be a Foo Fighters parody about Dead or Alive 4 and other Xbox 360 games,titled “DOA4″.

This could mean anything: 26 days, the 26th of August or September. Maybe it has something to do with the next tour - 26 is half of 52 (there are 52 weeks in a year). Or maybe Al is throwing us a curveball and the number 26 has absolutely no apparent relation to Weird Al at all. It’s all a mystery…

I agree with the above post that it could mean nothing as well. Could be there for hype and nothing else, instead of hype with a meaning. Not a pleasant thought, but it holds water and is worth considering. Let’s hope it means something cool!

I pretty sure it means September 26th because back in April a big 27 appeared. This was about 2 months before June 27th and this Ask Al from April confirms that it was a release date teaser.

Oh, okay. Well, if you must know, the big “27” that appeared briefly on this web site was the beginning of a teaser campaign to announce that the new album was coming out on June 27. I’m very sorry to say that the album is not coming out on June 27 anymore, due to something which threw a major monkey wrench into our release plans. (Don’t worry, it’s just silly record company politics. Maybe I’ll tell you the story someday.) Anyway, we’re obviously trying to resolve the issue, and hoping to get the album out as soon as humanly possible. I’m bound and determined to get it out… well, sometime this year, for sure. I really think it’s a great album (although I may be just a little biased) and I sure hope everybody will think it’s been worth the wait.

So today is about 2 months from September 26th and we again have a giant 27 that morphs to a 26 and Albums always come out on Tuesday.
Mark my words: New Al-bum 9/26/07!

The movie didn’t load up on my computer. It tried, but then just continued to the main page.
9/26/06 may be the date of the next album. Oh I hope it is sooner!!!
But I can still wait until then. At least we have a potential date now!

because back in April a big 27 appeared. This was about 2 months before June 27th and this Ask Al from April confirms that it was a release date teaser for June 27th but then the Pitiful Blunt fiasco happened and that delayed it. The 27 then morph to 26 was to draw the connection I made above.

interestingly that sound that plays during the 27 turning into 26 when played backwards and slowed down, a voice says “weird al”
