Two new songs!
First Al went back to the hood, and now he’s gone back to the studio — to record two new songs for “Straight Outta Lynwood”!!
7-22-06 (new song, title tba)
7-22-06 (new song, title tba)
That bumps the total number of songs for this album up to twelve! Huzzah!!

Oh yes!
And, You’re Pitiful is listed as “internet Only”…
That squashes anyone’s hope of it being on the album.
Oh. And I said somewhere before that there probably be 12 songs, not 11.
I was right!
Wake me up when September almost ends!

One of the album’s song names is “White and Nerdy”, a parody of Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’”. Yeeha!
He’s also parodying Usher, R. Kelly, and Green Day.

The album’s shaping up to be a rap dominent album, which makes me a hypocrite, because I absolutley HATE rap…except when it’s done by Al. His rap is awesome.

Indeed, that is awesome!!!!!

The only problem that I have with Al doing rap is that I haven’t heard the original song before Al parodies it. I heard “It’s All About the Pentiums”, “Couch Potato”, and “Trash Day” before I heard the originals. For the last two, I had to listen to the cds of my co-worker to hear them one time. I still don’t think I’ve heard Puff Daddy’s “It’s All About the Benjamins” all the way through yet.

Surely there will be a parody of Straight Outta Compton. Otherwise, the title makes no sense.
