September Desktop Wallpaper Contest Reminder
Just a reminder to send in your entries for the September Desktop Wallpaper contest soon. Unlike the other months, we’re commissioning a theme this time. The theme is to use the cover art for the upcoming album, Straight Outta Lynwood. Your entries must include the cover image un-altered. Sure you can put it on a great background like the February calendar did, or make it look like it’s at the bottom of a dumpster, although that probably won’t get it selected, but ya can’t go changing Al’s head with say, that of Carrot Top. Maybe you could show the masses of people who will be, nay I say ARE standing in line, and camping, waiting for the album to show up in music stores. Well, if YOU are in that line, you must have some kind of net connection, so there’s no excuse. Get to work!
You will need
- The cover art.
- The Al-oholics Anonymous September calendar.
- The Al-oholics Anonymous logo.
- The rules for submitting an entry.
- Some editing tool that will let you submit your 1600×1200 entry in a Photoshop file format with all layers left unmerged.
- Some good creativity to make it all look good.
The deadline for this will be EXTENDED. All entries must be submitted by midnight TUESDAY, AUGUST 29th. Good luck!

some graphics programs can still use the photoshop format. I know Paint Shop Pro and GIMP can.

Well you could always get it by downloading from file-sharing sites
like Morpheus or Grokster or Limewire or Kazaa
