Weird Al on Japanese TV
This video seems to be making its rounds on the blogosphere lately. Here’s “Classic Al” appearing on a Japanese TV show to perform “Eat It”.
I kinda I remember seeing a much shorter clip of this on an old AL-TV or something. In this clip, we get a full intro with Al comically flopping on the floor and a pretty surreal ending. Much like Al, I didn’t understand a word any of them were saying. Seriously, what the heck was up with the shrimp guy at the end?

the japanese are strange indeed… weird al tried his best to make it work, but it looked like he was suffering out there. Perhaps this contributed to his idea to do “Fat” later on? (with the fat guy piggin out the whole time)

Okay……That…was…just…weird. The Japanese need to get coucilling. [My opinion!!] Didja notice how Al’s voice wasn’t as nasally as it usually is/was?
Steve, I totally agree…..What’s up with that shrimp guy [although I think he was a lobster. Remember TWAS….? “AAAAAAHHHHH…I’m LOBSTER BOY!!!” ?

I saw this a few days ago.
He really did look like he was uncomfortable.
They really should have given him a translator or something so that he knew what was going on…
