Here’s Johnny…er, Leno!
Hey, remember a while back when there was a little blurb on WeirdAl.com that said he and the band will be appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno? Ok, so your memory sucks, but it did and he will. But what the? WHOA! That means it’s TONIGHT! Set those recording devices NOW! It’s his first appearance on the show in 21 years. Hopefully we’ll see many other appearances like this in the near future.

i would like to take this opprotunity to wish al good luck on his tonight show appearence..
i would also like to take this opprotunity to say leno is SO NOT FUNNY…..(HOW UNFUNNY IS HE???)
he’s so unfunny that he steals material from the KING OF LATE NIGHT (since mr. carsons passing) David Letterman!!!
to make things even dave stole headlines from leno and changed it to SMALL TOWN NEWS
leno = NOT FUNNY letterman = KING OF LATE NIGHT

I was gonna watch Letterman tonight(haha, I so agree with joshua), but since it’s AL, I will definetally catch Leno. Seeing as Al will be performing(around the end, I hope) I’ll flip after the Top 10!

That was an awesome performance!
I was surprised to see Al actually come on stage in his WaN look and on his Segway..
I would be scared of anyone normal who did that…
But Al is totally able to do it, because it fits with the song…
It would be funny if people who didn’t know Al actually thought he looked like that all the time
That is a hard song to do, and so I was expecting LOTS of background back-ups… but Al did MUCH more live than I assumed he would.
Can’t underestimate him I guess..
Keep going Al! This is just the beginning!

anyway…. i had a thought about how al could start his touring show next year….(any comments on this would be nice)
fun zone plays….flipping channels…..leno introduction….al rides in on segway and sings “white and nerdy” like on the tonight show…..the lights go black for about 30 seconds (so al can change from “white and nerdy” guy to hawaiian shirt)….then all of a sudden you hear the chicken dance, leading into polkarama!
what do you think about my idea???
