Weird Al on the Today Show (Australia)
Hope you all had a relatively stress-free Thanksgiving yesterday. Found this on Google Video while waiting for the tryptophan-induced coma to kick in… Al does a satellite interview with the Today Show in Australia. The host kept mispronouncing Al’s last name, but other than that, not too bad.

I wonder if Al is sick of talking about this stuff over and over, he’s not their monkey boy, you know? And didn’t Al technically do a 3rd Michael Jackson parody called “Snack All Night”, but only did it for a performance. And “My Balogna” was his first big hit, I dunno about internationally, but it was his first hit, got him on the Tonight Show anyway.

I don’t think Al is getting sick of the interviews. He has to promote the album, so interviews on many tv/radio stations is a big part of that. Why are you questioning what Al himself said? If he said Eat It was his first international hit, then it was. As far as the Michael Jackson parodies, I think Al was only counting those released on albums. Btw, his first tv appearance was the Tomorrow Show, and the song was “Another One Rides the Bus”.
