When Al calls you an idiot you wear it as a badge of honour. I figured SOMEONE had to represent the idiots here in Sydney. Plus, some of the references went over people’s heads. I wonder how many recognized the Bob & Doug Mckenzie call?

I am proud to be a Canadian Idiot! Honestly, I’ve heard people who say that Al’s a jerk cause of it. Really, I find it funny! I can actually relate to a few of things all says! I do eat a lot of Kraft Macaroni and I feel that Al wrote the song “aboot” me!

How did you get to meet al after the show? I was fortunate the last time he was in Australia at Brisbane, now im going to be seeing him next Wednesday night at Twin Towns

Hey Josh,
I had read in the forums that he usually comes out to meet with fans about an hour after the show. So I banked on that. We hung out in the venue for a bit, asked some crew if they knew if/when/where it might happen, and then followed some other fans who seemed to know something we didn’t. After the first show in Sydney he came out the back of the building in an alley. Actually the rest of the band came out about 15minutes before he did… but I wasn’t on the ball enough to score the whole lot of signatures.

Unfortunately i had to rush off after the show and didnt get to meet Al this time round, im glad i have met him before though. Atleast we were in the second row and Al was singing wanna be your lover to her. lol
