Ooh! There’s a new section on the Links page at WeirdAl.com: “AL TUBE – Random Al Stuff on the Internet!”
Right now, there’s ten links to YouTube videos of random wacky Al adventures from long ago, some of which you may have seen here on Yank Blog. There’s a few we haven’t gotten around to, like Ben Folds’ Rockin’ the Suburbs. Al makes a cameo at approximately 2:06 minutes into it…

I’m sure you know this, but Al directed this entire video. And actually met up with Ben in a grocery store before he’d submitted the idea to the record company. And Ben liked the idea enough that, well it happened, and this of course led to Folds’ playing on “Why Does this Always Happen…” and Al’s appearance in Folds’ “Time”….. Apparently because they were both buying frozen pizza. I heard this from Ben in some interview.
