Audio Interview with Al

Audio interview with Weird Al: Giving hope to nerds worldwide

Here’s a nice long interview with Al back in May.  For some reason, it seems to get cut off at the end, but there’s still plenty of Al-info to digest.  How did he prepare for the concert?  Will there be another box set?  etc…

(Thanks to Erica M. for sending me this)

I don’t know if you can actually download the interview.
However, the website doesn’t seem to be working right now, but the link to the STREAMING audio is http://wm.world.mii-streaming.net/media/nytreg/SH/mp3/SH9405524.MP3

You’ll need to have some sort of windows media player codec installed for your browser.

Lol you could just tell when the Coolio thing was coming up.

  5. Richard Says:

    The interview was pretty good.

Anyway, I know this has nothing to do with this subject, but in chorus class today, my teacher had us stretch to “Eat It”. Yet, it wasn’t even Al’s version – it was some cheap karaoke knock-off that Al. My teacher didn’t even know who “Weird Al” was. Many kids in my class knew it was not Al, and even wanted to see my expression on the off-key singing (it looked like nails on a chalkboard), but it was still a weird highlight of my weird day.

i still don’t know how to listen to this. any advice?

Just make sure you have an up-to-date version of Windows Media Player, and it should open right up when you click on the link.

I used Internet Explorer, so I don’t know from trying if Safari or Mozilla works.
