New Digital Accordion best of all worlds
Check out this interview with Weird Al from the Roland Users Group Insider mostly about the newest generation of the V-Accordion by Roland which he used at a surprise appearance in a POTUSA concert.
He really likes the size and weight of the new FR-2. Maybe one day we’ll see him juggling three of those on stage or on YouTube. They’re so light and fluffy, he can fit twenty-seven of them in his mouth at one time.
Also interesting to note is that he hopes to be back in the studio once again this year. Although, there’s no definite plans at the moment. So who knows?

I’d be shocked if it was released before summer 2009. His tour is going to take up June, July and August and he hasn’t even begun writing new songs yet, but Al and the band have been doing this for nearly three decades so I’m confident that they’ve got the recording process down pat so once they’ve got something to work with things will probably roll smoothly. I shall continue to hold my breath >.<
