Not quite there yet

Well, if you’ve been refreshing iTunes since midnight, you probably noticed the new song isn’t there yet. Here’s the current scoop from WeirdAl.com:

NEW SINGLE UPDATE!
Apparently there was a glitch at iTunes last night and Al’s new single - “Whatever You Like” - didn’t debut with the rest of the new releases. We’re being told that they’re working on the problem and (hopefully!!) it will be up later today. We’ll definitely let you know when that happens!

Aww… we’ll just have to be a little more patient. All good things come to those who wait.

This must be some major glitch if it’s still not up there now!

    I’m unclear though…
Was it just Al’s song that didn’t get added with the new ones, or all the new songs going on today?

I’m glad that iTunes only has their exclusive for 2 weeks because iTunes STINKS! I will be buying my copy from Amazon when it appears there as there is no stinky DRM and it’s in mp3 format. I have bought 1 song from iTunes and only because I couldn’t find it anywhere else, and even then I had to burn it to CD then rip the CD just to make it into an mp3. Yuck on a Stick! I do support Al’s venture into online publishing but wish he’d go with another store. I know he probably chose iTunes because it’s the most popular platform out there but I’ll take non-DRM any day! Thanks for releasing on YouTube as I wouldn’t have gotten to hear it if it weren’t for that!
