Set your calendars to August 1, 2009 for AL FEST: The “Weird Al” Yankovic Fan Convention!! The exact location hasn’t been settled on yet, but we do know it will be in or near Orange County in Southern California.

Keep either July 31 or August 2 (the day before and the day after Al Fest) free for pilgrimages to the OC Fair to see the Al’s Brain attraction. Oh, and plan to be up very late–past midnight–on Saturday, August 1. Get your rest–it’s going to be a long day. More info about that later…

But what we can tell you right now is that it promises to be everything you want in a Weird Al fan convention. There will be lip-sync/karaoke, or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the professional comedy musicians who will be performing live, and lots more to be announced shortly! And you know Bermuda, that guy who drums in Al’s Band? Yeah, he’ll be there too!!

Hi everybody!   How has the new year been treating you so far?  Oh… sorry to hear that, but hopefully your eyebrows will grow back very soon.   Plus I hear chicks dig scars.  Sorry for the lack of updates (again).   My lab mice had kept me tied up in the basement while they were trying to take over the world (again).

Anyway, if you haven’t been keeping up with what’s going on over at AlsBand.net, you can now purchase their song on iTunes, Al’s Band, PayPlay.fm and LaLa.com.  Very spiffy.

Also, it looks like a BRAND NEW SONG called “We’ve Never Been To Hawaii” is going to be released very soon.  Hmm, I wonder what it’ll be about.
