New Song from Al’s Band

At long last, the newest song from Al’s Band “We’ve Never Played In Hawaii” is available on CDBaby.com.

We’d love to play in the Aloha State, that’s one place we can’t wait to see‘ say the lyrics of our second single. It’s a cheerful lament about us yearning to play a show in Hawaii, and features some lovely guitar work from Jim.

Happy Anniversary and Birthday!

Hey would ya look at that! Today is Al and Suzanne‘s eighth anniversary! Big congrats to them from EVERYONE on the Internet. Yes, that even means Leroy Finkelstein over there hiding in the corner. We see you. But the good news doesn’t stop there. Tomorrow is Nina’s 6th birthday. WOOHOO! Remember what it was like when you were six? Sure you do. Al’s music brings out our childlike innocence in all of us. I know I still have the heart of a child…. although it’s in a jar under my bed. Hmm, wonder if that kids needs it back? Anyway, make sure you wish everyone the appropriate good wishes.

Delving into Al’s Brain

The OC Register, Orange County’s news source, gives us quite a bit of info about the upcoming attraction “Al’s Brain” at the OC Super Fair.  And check out the renditions of what the $2.5 Million exhibit will look like from the outside and storyboards.   Plus, the article states that the ten minute film will culminate with Al’s first computer generated music video for a brand new song called “The Brain Song.”  (Hmm, wouldn’t the video for “Money for Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies*” count as the first?  *shrug*)  Unfortunately, it looks like the song will NOT be available for purchase anywhere.

Anyway, check out the full article for all the juicy delicious brainy details.
