Wow, not only is there a brand new song being released *AND* a live online “Ask Al” session on Tuesday.  There is also going to be a music video to go along with that!  For those who didn’t want to be spoiled on the song title before, Al does reveal the name on his MySpace blog post.

AND on top of that, AOL will be doing a world premiere of the video tomorrow (assuming they don’t pull the plug like last time).

The Adventures of Al’s Brain

This is a promo for alsbrain.com, which is in turn a promo for “Al’s Brain” (a 3-D journey through the human brain with “Weird Al” Yankovic). Al’s Brain premieres at the Orange County Super Fair (July 10 – August 9, 2009) and will travel to the Puyallup Fair in September (other dates and locations to be announced).

Disclaimers: Al did not write or perform the song in this promo, and the “Al’s Brain in 3-D” movie (which is mostly live action) bears no resemblance at all to this video.

Big news that Al just posted to Twitter… Tuesday June 16th (same day the new song will be out), Al will be doing an online “Ask Al” session on Ustream/Twitter at 5pm Pacific (8pm Eastern).   How awesome is that?   Think up some good questions, preferably something he hasn’t been asked a zillion times before.  Ooh, I know!  I’m going to ask what inspires him.  I bet NO ONE ever asked him that!

Seibertron.com posted a transcript of the Botcon 2009 panels featuring “Weird Al” Yankovic and David Kaye. Nothing earth-shattering but it does offer a little insight on Al’s Wreck Gar character from Transformers: Animated. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, close your eyes and have a friend read it aloud to you, while you pretend you were there. Ahh. Okay, you can open your eyes now.
