Next video teaser

JibJab.com, the animators of the video for “Do I Creep You Out” has just slammed down a teaser image of their next collaboration with Weird Al. There’s no info of what the song is about or even what the title is, but do divulge it’s one of the most insane videos they’ve ever done and it’ll hit the public on August 4th.  Awesome!  Okay, take a look at the picture and post your thought to Yank Blog.  I think it looks like pure spectacular-ness-ation.

Chat Cancelled

Bad news from WeirdAl.com, the UStream chat has been cancelled.  It looks like Al was really hoping to be able to broadcast from his vacation spot, but unfortunately the internet connection just isn’t up to snuff for that.  :(   Hopefully they can reschedule and let us know when as soon as possible.

New Live Chat soon, More Skipper Dan

Big news from WeirdAl.com:

LIVE CHAT!
On Thursday, July 16 from 8PM to 9PM Eastern time (5PM to 6PM Pacific) Al will be answering your questions on Ustream! You don’t need a Twitter account to watch the broadcast, but you will need one if you want to ask questions. Just go on Twitter and tweet your question, making sure to add #weirdal at the end of it (so it’ll show up on Al’s screen) – and if he feels like it, he’ll answer it in the live Ustream video broadcast!

And the new single Skipper Dan is available on iTunes, Amazon, and many other online music stores.  Plus you can purchase the video on iTunes, or watch it for free on Al’s YouTube page.

Reduced Shakespeare Company Podcast

I’ve been meaning to post about this, but I kept getting eaten by a grue.

From the REDUCED SHAKESPEARE COMPANY PODCAST:

Episode 133: “Weird Al” Yankovic

Weird Al Yankovic squanders his celebrity this week by reflecting on his art, craft, influences, aspirations, and beauty tips. Featuring awesome practical advice (where to record for that cool ambience, how to avoid drive-by shootings), inspirational life lessons (sometimes accordion lessons can lead to greatness), and a special appearance by Ron Bottitta from Lost, it’s a veritable nerdapalooza!

Al tweets from Al’s Brain

Oh and if you don’t keep track of Al’s twitter, he’s been at the OC SuperFair for the “Al’s Brain World Premiere” party and meeting up with lots of friends.  Since you’re probably reading this and not there, you can pretend like you’re standing there taking pictures of them by looking at Al’s twitpic account.  Look!  It’s Judy Tenuta, John K, Laraine Newman, Drew Carey, Robert Ben Garant, and many more.
