Behind the scenes of Ringtone video

CurrentTV’s blog divulges some nice behind-the-scene pics in the making of the animated video for Weird Al’s next song Ringtone.

SuperNews/Weird Al Collabo-Jam! Behind the scenes

There it is revealed for the first time that Al and @super_josh are actually four-legged creatures who have been trying to hide their extraneous body parts with camouflaged neon green stockings.  Ironically, it is here in the green background where the truth finally comes to light.

Weird Al’s New Blog

White and Nerdy
Weird Al seems to have moved away from MySpace blogging and finally got himself an account on WordPress.com.

His first post is mostly about Internet Leaks becoming an official 5-track release on iTunes next Tuesday (August 25), the next song Ringtone, the video for it, etc…

The first comment is, well… funny and appropriate.

The Super News Callabo-Jam Aug 21

It looks like Al’s next song might be seen in the public eye just little bit earlier than scheduled

So it looks like Al’s next song will be called “Ringtone” and will be animated by Super News and premieres Friday, August 21st at 10/9c on Current TV. If you haven’t heard of Super News or even Twitter, check out The Twouble with Twitters which gives you a pretty good introduction to both.

BTS of Weird Al’s CNR, Part II

Behind the scenes of CNR

Behind the scenes of CNR

JibJab.com just put out a Facebook Album filled with lots of behind the scenes photos of the making of the CNR video.  See early concept art, ideas that were eventually cut, and my favorite:  Al reacting to something scary.   Looks like you do NOT need a Facebook account to view these:

C.N.R. B.T.S.!!

JibJab.com is showing us a few behind the scene clips in the making of the video for CNR.   First on the list are some green screen shots where the body movements of Mr. Reilly is captured to mimic riding a bicycle and a game show host.

Starring the JibJab employees

So you’re probably wondering, who are those other folks in the CNR video that suffer the wrath that is Charles Nelson Reilly, some of whom you could superimpose your face over?

Well, one of the designers over at JibJab posted a bunch of screenshots on just who those people are.  The poster in question was in the car that gets swallowed whole… AND plays the part of Bermuda’s body!  Ha ha ha!

mutually exclusive: Weird Al released starring… JJ employees!.
