I tried the number and not surprisingly it was busy.  Just curious if anybody actually managed to get through and what did you two talk about?  Anyone?

On Friday, Weird Al was on Comedy Death-Ray on Indie1031.com with Scott Aukerman and the two ladies from the comedy group Garfunkel and Oates.    It’s a hilarious interview including a cover of “One More Minute” by G&O which is very NOT family-friendly, and a very thorough discussion about spiders, amorphous blobs, and bathroom attendants.

This Saturday (Jan 23rd), Weird Al talks with that guy he’s always with.  You know who I’m talking about.  Yeah THAT guy… AGAIN!  You’d think they would have talked about everything there is to talk about by now.  But NOOOOO.  What?  No I’m not jealous… shut up! Well if you’re in the area then head on over to Cobb’s Comedy Club and watch them talk about… um… stuff.  Then Al will introduce a showing of UHF at midnight at the Clay Theatre.  Nice!

Interview from the A.V. Club on the upcoming RiffTrax LIVE: Christmas Shorts-Stravaganza event, the Essential Weird Al Yankovic compilation, his past Christmas songs, and his holiday plans in general.  Al mentions “There’s the yearly bobbing for pork, of course.”  Well, since Al is vegetarian, I’m guessing it’s some sort of tofu pork… maybe it’s called TOFORK.   If there’s no such thing, I have the perfect slogan for this new product: “TOFORK: It’s exactly as tasty as it sounds.”   Where’s my royalties?

Weird Al snuck into Cracked.com headquarters and listed his top nine most underrated funny songs ever.   To be honest I hadn’t heard of a single one of those songs listed, but then again I’ve been living inside a gigantic pickle jar in a basement for the last ninety years.  So I’m bound to have missed out on a few things.  Holy cow, what’s this thing I’m typing on?!?

Weird Al, the poet and philosopher, shows up on Attack of the Show yesterday to talk about The Essential Weird Al Yankovic and almost gets tricked by Chris Hardwick to reveal what’s in his new screenplay he’s writing.
